L’Oreal Paris Infallible Sculpt Range Review & Competition!

thumb_558A9064_1024There’s an exciting new range on the block from one of my favourite brands, L’Oreal Paris. They’ve brought out a range all about how to sculpt the face, with the help of multiple different products that I couldn’t wait to share with you.

thumb_558A9047_1024There are 5 products in the range and each one is more exciting and innovative than the next. Let’s start with the Infallible Sculpt Base, which has been designed to be used specifically before sculpting. Available in two shades, the formula is much lighter than a foundation but still adds a light coverage and luminous look to the skin. It contains ‘grip technology’ to help ensure the sculpt products adhere well onto the skin and claims to last up to 24 hours (although I never keep my makeup on that long!).

thumb_558A9058_1024For me the next product, Infallible Sculpt Palette,  is the star of the show. It’s a duo sculpting kit with one darker shade to add dimension to the face, and a lighter shade to highlight. It’s available in two shades and I’ve been using the darker of the two as I like a more chiseled look. With a cream to powder formula they’ve really combined the best of both worlds as the cream effect gives a super natural look on the skin whereas the powder finish ensures long lasting qualities.

thumb_558A8992_1024 thumb_558A8999_1024 thumb_558A8989_1024To apply and blend in the product I’ve been using the Sculpting Brush, with the flat side of the brush to apply the contour and the curved side to apply the highlight. It’s a synthetic brush which makes it perfect for picking up and distributing the right amount of product onto the face and makes blending in as easy as can be.

As shown above, I use the dark shade in the hollows of the cheeks, on my temples and just below my jaw line. I’ve applied the lighter shade on the high-points of the face like down the centre of my nose, the top of my cheekbones and a little in the centre of my forehead. Both shades are matte so have a really natural finish on the skin once blended.

thumb_558A9046_1024For adding colour and an extra pop of highlight there’s the Infallible Sculpt Blush, with three shades in each blush you can use it whichever way you like. I’ve either been dipping my brush in all three or using each individual shade for a pop of colour. I’ve been loving the shade Soft Rosy (middle) as it gives a gorgeous flush and has a slight sheen to it which really illuminates the cheeks.

thumb_558A9056_1024Lastly is the Infallible Sculpt False Lash Mascara, which has one of the most unique wands I’ve ever seen. It’s designed to help tightline the lashes whilst voluminising and adding shape and structure to each lash. I love the fanned out effect the wing of the brush gives as it really lifts my eyes.

There’s an exciting competition in partnership with Superdrug where you could win£2,000 shopping vouchers (on Love2Shop), Entire L’Oreal Paris make up range (worth £2,500) with total value worth is £4,500. To enter: take a colour close of picture wearing L’Oreal Paris Infallible Sculpt Palette on your face, before blending the product in (like the picture above) and submit it via Facebook, twitter or instagram and make sure to #SculptYourWay.
