LECH, AUSTRIA TRAVEL GUIDE

558A3276Over Easter weekend my family & I headed on a last minute trip to Lech. None of us had ever been before and being all avid skiers and snowboarders we were all eager to get to grips with some different slopes.

558A3400558A3251WHERE WE STAYED – Kristiania, Lech

All of us absolutely loved the Kristiania. Amazing food, cosy atmosphere and friendly staff.A few minutes walk into the centre of town (where the slopes are) but if you’re a big post-ski spa lover then there’s only a sauna available here. However it’s a short ride to the Post Spa Hotel and the Kristiania offers complimentary passes to enter.

THE BEST LUNCH – Berg Hotel

Hands down the best fries, schnitzel & beef we ate all week. Also their Sexy Salad was really delicious too! The best dish on the menu was the Kaishshmarren, which slightly resembles scrambled eggs but is the most gooey, sweet, delicious dessert I’ve ever had! I’m still dreaming about them…

BEST OUTDOOR SPOT – Goldenberg Hotel

For when the sun comes out the Goldenberg hands down has the best view and most lively terrace.

MOST EFFICIENT SKI RENTAL – Strolz

I’ve rented a lot of skis in multiple different places but Strolz has by far been the most efficient, I would highly recommend their 3 floor system (boots on one, skis on another, storage on another!).
