NEW LONDON BAKERY – Dominique Ansel

Hot news on my Instagram feed is the much hyped Dominque Ansel Bakery has opened in London. Cronuts, cookie shots and cutsie cakes galore! It’s actually opened up right next to Victoria tube station and a few doors down from my favourite Peggy Porchen. You don’t need to ask me twice to check out anything that involves my sweet tooth. We ordered a Matcha Latte, to which they do their own spin by adding white chocolate. A cronut, and some other cute cakes – just look at that owl! Cookie shots are served from 3pm so we took some to go on the way out. I trotted off to ask my panel of judges (boyfriend, sister and dad) for their opinions. The verdict was The Cronut was the sweetest of the bunch, and not for everyone’s tastes but the cookie shot got the most love. A fun different way to eat a cookie and a unique take on cookies and milk. You can sit inside, outside or take it to go.

Moving on to my outfit, I’ve dabbled around a few Autumn/Winter coats and I’ve found one that’s warm, snug, neutral and of course, it’s from REVOLVE. I still have this one from last year which I’m loving, which now comes in a longer style, but Lovers + Friends caught my eye with this latest piece. I paired it with my suede purple boots to add a pop of colour and lightened everything up with my Givenchy bag. Another one I’ve been wearing that’s more structured is this one from All Saints which is perfect for something more formal. I’ve included some of my favourite coats of the moment below…
