FALLING FOR FLARES

I remember a few years ago I bought my first pair of adult flares. I thought they were the most flattering jeans, made my legs look miles long and made my non-existent bum look somewhat existent. I strutted my stuff that evening, wearing them with such pride, only to be made fun of by all my friends for resembling mothers in the 70's. I wore them anyway but couldn’t shake the fact that maybe they didn’t look as good as they felt. Fast forward till now and flares are back ‘in’. They’re all over my Instagram feed and in every store I look at. My sister pulled out a pair of these corduroy navy blue, extremely well fitted trousers and it was minutes before I nicked them from her wardrobe. My first foray back into flares and I thought I would keep it simple, a cut out light knit and my favourite new Maison Michel hat.
