Even though Autumn just began I already have my essentials locked down, I’ve been um-ing and ah-ing over what pieces to add to my wardrobe this season for a while and whilst I’m still eyeing up the new in Gucci velvet bags I’m pretty happy with my choices so far. They’re all pieces I know I’ll wear throughout the season and are so versatile and easy to wear.
This dress is one of my favourite key pieces this autumn. I’ve been wearing it so much lately! I love everything about it, especially the autumnal shade and the airy sleeves, which I’m absolutely obsessed with. They have this beautiful floral embroidery all over and the mesh material really makes them different and unique. They make the dress truly easy to wear because you don’t have to style it much at all. Plus I love the easy flowy shape.
I’ve been wearing my Balenciaga knife boots non-stop recently, but even though I love them, I wouldn’t repurchase them. Why? Because they have frayed already! I’m really disappointed with the quality, so I can’t say I can recommend them to you, but I would still suggest you to welcome a different pair of sock boots into your closet. It’s by far my favourite shoe trend of the season! If I were you, I’d get the Public Desire dupe I also have. I’ve had those for a lot longer and they’re still holding up just fine.
My love for the Chloe Nile bag is still going strong, I’ve worn it so many times now! The neutral shade really allows me to pair it with the majority of my outfits, and I love that I can wear it different ways too - over the arm, in my hands, over the shoulder… I’ll go as far as to say it’s the most versatile bag I have in my wardrobe right now.
One thing you’ll rarely see me without it a watch. It’s an accessory that’s really easy to change, so I love mixing them up to match my outfits. This Metropolitan one by Timex that goes perfectly together with my bag is my most recent addition, and their Metropolitan Starlight version with shimmering Swarovski crystals around the dial is one of my favourites too - it just adds something extra special to the look and I’ve been wearing it for more of an evening look.
I also have a couple of must-have autumn beauty staples to share but I’ll save that for a video and just mention my favourite here. Charlotte Tilbury’s Hollywood Lips matte liquid lipstick. There’s a lot of matte formulas out there that completely dry your lips out so I’m always weary when trying a new formula, but this one is a complete opposite. Even though it’s a true matte, it’s super nourishing, velvety soft, and I love how easy it applies as well! It comes with a special crescent-shaped applicator that mimics the natural curve of your lips and a thin tip that helps with defining. You just have to be careful about not applying to much product, because it is very pigmented and you only need a minimal amount on the applicator. I’m wearing the shade Show Girl.
