5 OF THE PRETTIEST DRESSES TO WEAR THIS SPRING

Sponsored by Free People

If there’s one wardrobe item I find difficult to resist, it’s pretty dresses. They’re comfortable, so incredibly easy to wear, and make me feel polished in an instant! Naturally, springtime coinciding with the easing of lockdown restrictions presents the perfect opportunity to pick up some fresh and fun styles.

After a year of elasticised waistbands, I am so excited to step out into a new ‘normal’ world and start dressing up again. Luckily, my go-to brand for boho-inspired looks, Free People, released some gorgeous new dresses and I quickly snapped them up!

Here are my picks of the best Free People dresses to shop right now…

Louie Midi Dress

I’m predicting yellow to be big news this summer. And this pastel-hued frock is an absolute must-have! Timeless, effortlessly stylish and so versatile, it’s begging to be worn to a beer garden come April.

Love Of My Life Midi Dress

This gauzy cotton dress is an absolute dream! With a V-neck silhouette, nipped-in waist and breezy ankle-grazing length, it’s set to be a firm fixture in my warm weather wardrobe. I’ve styled it with a hat and sneakers, but it could easily be paired with strappy sandals too.

Pretty Dayz Set

The set trend has been huge for a few seasons now, and I don’t really see it going anywhere anytime soon. While technically not a dress, it’s still a fab option for spring. I am loving this cropped tank (look at the sweet ruffled sleeves!) and flowy skirt combo.

Heat Haze Maxi Dress

Elegant and a little bit dramatic, this maxi dress is made for sunshine! I think the smocked empire waistline is so incredibly flattering. I’ve been wearing it with sneakers, gold jewellery and a cute basket bag for a super casual vibe.

Floral Maxi

This is the ultimate throw-on-and-go dress! Cut for a slightly loose fit, it has a swishy tiered hem with charming patchwork prints. This particular style appears to be sold out right now, but I’ve linked two very similar dresses here.

I’ll share some more of my Free People picks on my Instagram Stories coming up as there’s too much beauty to resist. You can shop Free People here.
