Dior has a history of creating some of the most covetable bags. Of course, there’s the Lady Dior, the Saddle, 30 Montaigne and the fairly recent Caro (swoon!) and now they’ve reimagined these four iconic styles in a series of miniature versions! As a lover of micro bags, I was so excited to have the opportunity to give these chic new releases a test drive. Safe to say, I have fallen head over heels!
This dreamy collection celebrates some of the the founding couturier’s favourite colours. Alongside the classic hues of black, red and latte, you’ll find sweet shades like rose des vents, sky blue, mint and tundra green.
With such a chic colour palette and sophisticated shapes at your finger tips, you’ll be hard-pressed to find an outfit these minis won’t go with. Of course being a micro bag you’ll have trouble fitting in more than a lipgloss, credit card and house keys, but what more does one need?
While I would be perfectly comfortable pairing one of these mini Dior delights with a simple white sundress or even a pair of jeans, I was excited to take a more fanciful and fun approach to my ensemble. The versatility of these bags have definitely cemented their place as a forever piece in my wardrobe though.
