AUTUMN’S CHICEST COLOUR TREND

Sage. Avocado. Olive. Mint. Apple. Lime.

No, I haven’t inadvertently shared my grocery list. In fact, I’m talking about the colour of the season—green. Having dominated shop floors and runways, green has quickly cemented itself as the go-to hue for autumn.

The best part is that there are plenty of chic ways to tap into this trend. Go monochrome and wear multiple pieces in the same shade at once for the highest possible impact. As an interesting alternative to neutrals, team a green-hued knit with sneakers and a micro bag for an effortless off-duty look. Or, my personal favourite styling hack, opt for a pop in the form of an attention-pulling accessory.

Case in point: I’m loving this Bulgari Serpenti Maxi Cabochon bag that’s finished in a beautiful jade colour way. Coming in a quilted leather with a chain handle and shoulder strap, this limited edition style is polished yet versatile—the perfect combination. Exclusive to Selfridges, the bag also features the brand’s signature snakehead clasp and comes in two size options.

It would be difficult to find a look that isn’t made cooler by way of this bag, but right now, I’m enjoying styling it with classic pieces. A checked blazer, white tee, black boots and high-waisted straight leg jeans (comfortable and incredibly flattering!) are all I need to feel on-trend and timeless in equal measure.
