When I saw a pink coat appear on the runway a few seasons ago, I thought the trend was too girlie even for me, a die-hard pink lover. But little did I know, it would actually turn out to be the perfect addition to my wardrobe. You’d be surprised how easy it is to wear a pink coat with your existing pieces, especially if you’re into neutrals. While a super bright colour might really be a bit tricky to work with, something baby pink like this one from Club Monaco is so easy to incorporate – it’s not overpowering, yet adds a pop of fun to any outfit!
I also love how this coat is unstructured, but always makes you look put together and like you’ve put a lot of thought into your outfit, even if you just chuck it on. It’s perfect for those lazy days when you can’t be bothered to wear anything other than a pair of jeans and a plain top, but don’t want your outfit to look too basic. I’m really glad I gave it a go, as it has quickly become one of my most worn coats!
